Apex Announces Glock 43X and Glock 48 Compatible Triggers

PEORIA, Ariz. – Apex Tactical Specialties announces that the Apex Action Enhancement Trigger for the Gen 3/Gen 4 model Glocks is compatible with the new Glock 43X and Glock 48 model pistols.

The Action Enhancement Triggers available for the new Glock 43X and Glock 48 models include:

– Black Anodized (Part #102-112)
– Thin Blue Line (Part #102-B112)
– Red Anodized (Part #102-152)
– Purple Anodized (Part #102-162)
– Blue Anodized (Part #102-172)

The Apex Action Enhancement Trigger for Glock pistols is a direct drop-in replacement of the factory polymer trigger and reduces overall trigger travel while providing a smooth uptake and reset, as well as a crisp trigger break. The Apex trigger body requires the use of the customer’s stock factory trigger bar, and removal of factory trigger, or installation on a separately purchased factory trigger bar.

Is it possible to get one in gold color? That matches a gold nitride barrel..

  2. Bob Horrar - February 17, 2019 @ 3:03 pm

The Glock 48 trigger is not listed on your website. How can I order one?

  3. scott - February 18, 2019 @ 6:21 am

Not from us directly, but you could contact Legion Precision, they can offer you one of our triggers Cerakoted.

  4. scott - February 18, 2019 @ 6:26 am

Presently, this is the only trigger we have that fits the Glock 43, 43X and 48.

We are working on a complete kit with a trigger, Trigger Bar and Connector. We are hoping to have that by the NRA show in late April.

I got the Thin Line Blue series trigger and it fits like a charm. I “crazy” ordered stiff to make a good combo and ordered the Glock safety Plunger but then i read it does not fit the 43 models. Can I still use it?? Or what would be a plunger recommendation for the 43x?

  6. paul - February 19, 2019 @ 11:51 am

No, the Apex Safety Plunger will not work in the Glock 43.

  7. Rick - February 21, 2019 @ 3:01 am

Come on guys we want the trigger on the bar ….eyes are to bad to be punching and pressing pins in and out…just put one in my g45 …red with the bar in under 10 minutes…
    Please hurry 😁

  8. scott - February 21, 2019 @ 6:04 am

We’re working on it, the supply of bars has been tough to get our hands on.

  9. John - February 21, 2019 @ 7:29 am

    Do you ship to canada?

  10. paul - February 21, 2019 @ 8:00 am

  12. Joe - February 23, 2019 @ 9:24 am

Any chances of doing a 43X trigger in the silver color so it matches the slide? Would look awesome.

  13. paul - February 25, 2019 @ 8:25 am

    No, not at this time.

  14. Will - February 27, 2019 @ 4:19 am

The link you posted above stated that it was compatible with the glock 48. But on that page it says not for gen 5 models. Is the 48 not a gen 5?

  15. scott - February 27, 2019 @ 4:40 am

The G43, 43X and 48 use a Gen5 trigger bar and connector housing, but use a gen 3/4 trigger body.

The Gen 5 trigger bodies have a cut on the right side to accommodate the ambi slide stop. Installing a Gen 5 body into a G43/48 frame would create a lot of side to side slop in the trigger.

  16. Pete - March 19, 2019 @ 10:14 pm

The Apex 102-112 will fit the G43x with no other modification .

  17. paul - March 20, 2019 @ 2:28 pm

That is correct. The trigger body will fit in the 43X as well as the 48.

  18. Ty Bates - March 22, 2019 @ 7:38 pm

How long till we get a complete assembled bar/trigger and all ? dont want to do this in little pieces.

  19. paul - March 26, 2019 @ 8:29 am

We do not know at this time. Availability of factory trigger bars is the issue. So you can use your own by replacing the stock polymer trigger with the Apex trigger body. However, that will mean ‘breaking’ the factory polymer trigger such that you cannot reinstall it on the trigger bar.

  20. Ron Galloway - March 27, 2019 @ 7:01 pm

I have a new 43x that I shot yesterday. My trigger finger gets pinched between the bottom of the trigger and the trigger guard. If I install your trigger, will that stop the finger pinching?

  21. scott - March 28, 2019 @ 5:58 am

In general, yes ours has helped with that problem.

  22. Pete - March 28, 2019 @ 6:10 am

Will the Thin blue line trigger 102-B112 also fit the G43x. Thanks

  23. scott - March 28, 2019 @ 6:11 am

    Yes it will.

  24. Pete - March 29, 2019 @ 5:27 pm

Wil model 102-B112 fit my oem Glock 19 gen 4 without modification .

  25. paul - April 1, 2019 @ 11:23 am

Yes. You only have to install the trigger body onto your trigger bar. However, we suggest going with the full kit, #102-B115. This will give you the best performance upgrade.

  26. Tara - April 12, 2019 @ 1:44 pm

Is the trigger in the G48 different than the factory trigger in the Gen 4 G19? If so what are the mean differences?

    Thank you
    Tara

  27. Bill - April 19, 2019 @ 6:12 am

Got my G48 flat trigger body and FN 509 Tactical flat trigger kit at the Arizona game fish department expo, very happy with both! Great job guys/gals!
Wish I took my 43X that day too,. Getting any closer to the enhancement kit yet?

  28. T.S. Foster - April 20, 2019 @ 3:07 pm

Do you offer Freedom trigger that will fit a Glock 48? Will changing the trigger alone reduce the pull weight or change how the take up feels?

    Thank you.

  29. paul - April 22, 2019 @ 9:07 am

The trigger body can be used in the 43, 43X and 48. It will improve the trigger pull characteristics but the trigger body alone does not reduce the pull weight.

  30. Henry - April 22, 2019 @ 10:20 am

Are there any custom glock 48 barrels out there ? 4.16 inch barrel?

  31. scott - April 24, 2019 @ 6:37 am

    Nothing yet.

  32. JC - May 15, 2019 @ 8:27 pm

any expected date on the complete trigger kit for the 43X? i see above where the NRA show was mentioned. How’s progress coming towards offering a complete trigger kit for the 43X?

  33. paul - May 16, 2019 @ 7:44 am

Not yet. We will announce when we have a kit ready. You can sign up for our email newsletter to keep up with the latest news from Apex.

  34. Darrell - May 17, 2019 @ 4:21 pm

Hi. I have the 102-150 red Glock trigger. I know that the bar won’t fit into a 43x, but would I be able to take the trigger off of the bar and connect it to the 43x OEM bar?

  35. scott - May 17, 2019 @ 4:31 pm

    Yes, you can do that.

  36. Danny - June 8, 2019 @ 1:59 am

I’ve already bought your trigger for my 43x.

Is it possible for when you guys release the full kit, I can purchase everything excluding the physical trigger itself?

  37. Michael - June 8, 2019 @ 10:09 pm

Is there a ETA on a complete enhancement trigger kit for the 43X and 48?

  38. paul - June 10, 2019 @ 8:15 am

Not at this time. Sign up for our email newsletter for upcoming new product announcements.

  39. paul - June 10, 2019 @ 8:16 am

You will likely be able to order elements of the kit separately.

  40. Brandon - July 8, 2019 @ 7:43 am

102-112 Can I install this shoe on the trigger bar currently in my G48? Your website States not for use with gen4/5 trigger bars, only gen3 on the product page. Odd because in this announcement it says it can be used on gen3 and 4 trigger bars.

  41. paul - July 8, 2019 @ 8:09 am

The trigger body alone will work in the G43, G43X and G48.

  42. paul - July 8, 2019 @ 8:13 am

    The trigger bars are different.

  43. Brendon - July 12, 2019 @ 10:33 pm

Will the Thin Blue Line (Part #102-B112) work in the Glock G43X ? Or will I need the Black Anodized (Part #102-112)? Looking to install just the trigger without any modification

  44. scott - July 15, 2019 @ 7:16 am

    Yes it will.

  45. Theo - July 25, 2019 @ 7:58 am

Can you confirm that the trigger shoe components are made of aluminum? What is the approximate weight of the trigger as compared to the stock polymer trigger? Can you also please explain why removal of the stock trigger cannot be undone? Thank you for your answers!

  46. scott - July 25, 2019 @ 8:30 am

The trigger body is aluminum. The safeties are now made from Polymer. We don’t currently claim a reduction in pull weight with the trigger in the G43/48.

The factory trigger body has a blind hole for the trigger bar pin. By punching that pin through to remove the bar, you are breaking out the other side of the trigger body and the trigger bar pin will not likely stay in place and you are likely to take a large chunk out of the trigger body when that pin is pushed through.

  47. Shane - August 11, 2019 @ 12:09 pm

Will the Blue Anodized (Part #102-172) fit in my G48? As it says “not for use in the Gen 5 models”

  48. paul - August 12, 2019 @ 7:18 am

Yes. The trigger body by itself will fit the G43, G43X and G48.
