This trigger gets remarkably close to the break of a mid-grade 1911’s (not perfect, but 90% there.) I look forward to shrinking my 50 foot groups dramatically as I dial in my familiarity with this upgrade. This is just speculation, but this might make the Shield feel like an expensive semi-custom like Springfield’s EMP.

Now, if only S&W would come out with a 4″ barreled Shield, or even better, a retrofit slide and 4 ” barrel that current Shield owners could slap on their frame to obtain a bit more sight radius and bullet velocity when carrying a slightly longer pistol is not a problem. With this trigger it might well be the Perfect 9mm: slim, light, easy to shoot.
