The first day of the 2012 NRA Annual Meeting is over and we’re pretty excited around here.
Smith & Wesson released the new M&P Shield at the show and we took a hard look into it this morning. We will be offering a line of products for the Shield as soon as possible.
We also looked t a few other things this morning that peaked our interest, which we cannot mention at this point, but we will soon.
Bottom line: Apex’s product line will soon be expanding even further.

[...] the Shield. Most likely they will but she was not able to confirm anything at this time. They announced the day the Shield came out they'll be releasing a full line of products for the Shield. They don't [...]
I just bought the Shield and have taken it out once. The trigger is good (not much travel, certainly not as much as the LC9) but I need a lighter trigger pull than 6 – 61/2 lbs. Also, the action is a little gritty. The gun shoots well and is accurate right out of the box. I’m excited about what you are going to do for the Shield.
From what I can tell the hard sear and USB work on the shield when do you think you will have duty carry springs for the shield?
I heard back from Grant at G&R Tactical, and he feels that the upgrade parts are all still needed to get the type of trigger action I want. Can you project availability for the poly trigger? The cost of the aluminum trigger (in addition to the DCAEK & RAM) is more than I can afford right now. I hope the poly model’s price will be more affordable. I am going to run a few boxes of ammo through my FS M&P .40, and polish the parts a little before I send in my order — maybe you’ll release some of the new M&P parts you’ve been tantalizing us with.
