ALLOY SIG SAUER MAINSPRING BOOT – Proper Fit & Function

Green Box=CORRECT, Red X=INCORRECT

Please view the photo to compare your firearm with the two Sig Sauer firearms pictured above:

  • The Sig Sauer firearm featured on the top of the photo has the correct mainspring boot type in order for the Apex ALLOY SIG SAUER MAINSPRING BOOT to fit and function properly in your firearm. (Boxed in Green)
  • The Sig Sauer firearm featured on the bottom of the photo is marked with an “X“.  This indicates that this is the incorrect type mainspring boot.  This type will not allow the Apex ALLOY SIG SAUER MAINSPRING BOOT to fit or function properly.

Please contact Apex Tactical Specialties directly for any further clarification or questions.  Thank you.

I have never seen a metal Sig mainspring boot. Was this an Apex product?

Yes, it was an Apex product and Yes they have been discontinued. I really wish that they would bring it back though. Hint, Hint! I have these on two of my pistols and would surely buy more if they were to begin offering them again.
