4" Pillar Files

Pillar File Shape:
A Pillar file has 2 wide faces that cut, those faces taper down from the handle toward the end of the file. THE CUTTING FACES ARE NOT PARALLEL. THIS FILE SHOULD NOT BE USED TO FIT BARRELS. We recommend THESE files for barrel fitting.

What It Does:

• Smooths edges on the narrow faces to provide “Safe” edges when cutting close corners.
• The wide faces are the only faces that will cut.
• This file can be used for all your material removal needs.
• #2 is considered a “Fine” file and can be used for finishing work.
• Single cut serrations.

Economy 4" File

The Economy 4" File is a solid, dependable option for occasional use. It handles the same basic tasks as the Grobet file and gets the job done when you need it. For long-term use, the Grobet remains our top recommendation, but the Economy File is a practical alternative.
