The Apex Flat-Faced Action Enhancement Kit for the SD VE and SD model pistols from Smith & Wesson directly replaces the factory hinged trigger with a solid body, flat-faced polymer trigger with a center mounted pivoting safety. This kit also:
- Reduces trigger pull weight approximately 2.0 lbs
- Reduces pre-travel and overtravel
- Proivdes a smoother trigger pull with improved reset
- Maintains factory safety values

The Fire Control Group in the SD 2.0 is completely different from the classic SD. We are investigating options for a trigger kit for this pistol. No ETA is currently available.
