Apex 5.00” Slide for FN 509 - RMR Slide Cut

This is a stripped slide for your FN 509 pistol. You will need to supply all of your own internals from your factory FN 509 slide (see below), and you’ll need a barrel.  All spaces in the slide accept factory FN components. For optimal performance, all Apex parts for the 509 fit this slide. 

Slide Features

• Apex 5” Slide for the FN 509 Pistol 
• Front and Rear Cocking Serrations 
• 2 Options available:  Classic or Lightning Bolt Serrations
• Suppressor height black on black sights installed by Apex 
• Black PVD Finish 

Ported Slide: Slide ports matching the Apex Ported Barrel for the FN 509 allow the escaping gasses from the barrel ports to reduce muzzle rise 

An Apex ported barrel is required for the ports to work correctly 

THIS SLIDE REQUIRES ALL INTERNALS AND A 5” BARREL FOR THE FN 509.

1. Use the factory parts from your present FN slide.
2. Contact Apex Customer Service to order a Slide Completion Kit. We will fully assemble the slide for you prior to shipping.
3. These Slide Completion Kits can only be purchased with a slide from Apex and must be installed by Apex. 
4. Purchase new Factory FN components from Midwestgunworks.com or Brownells.com.

Optic Mount Options

Optic Mount Options: 

RMR Cut: Slide cut with the appropriate geometry to direct mount RMR footprint optics, including but not limited to: RMR, RMR-HD, SRO, Holosun 508 and other optics what utilize the RMR footprint. 

• Check the specifications from your optic manufacturer for the proper torque on your screws.
• If no recommendations exist, we recommend all screws be torqued to 20 in-lb (Inch Pounds) MAXIMUM.

Replacing Sights

The dovetails are cut to accept any sights that will fit an FN 509 factory slide and cut for RMR Optics.

If you want to completely assemble this slide, you'll need the following:
