Closeout - 5.00” Apex Grade 9mm Gunsmith Fit Threaded Barrel for M&P - LCI Port

Apex Grade Gunsmith Fit Barrels set the standard for accuracy. When properly fitted to both the slide and the frame of the pistol, these barrels can deliver 1.00” – and under – 5-shot groups at 25 yards, assuming you do your part. These barrels are machined from heat treated premium cold hammer stainless steel barrel blanks and feature a 1:10” twist rate along with Apex’s proprietary, patented locking geometry.

If you intend to use one of our barrels in a pistol equipped with a factory LCI, you may have to remove the LCI for the barrel to fit. Reminder, it may be against the law in your area to remove an LCI, the end user is responsible for the legal and safe handling of their firearm.

Conversion barrels:

All of our threaded Gunsmith Fit barrels may be used as "Caliber Conversion" barrels for the M&P & M2.0 chambered in 40S&W and .357SIG. Meaning, fitting the appropriate length Apex 9mm Gunsmith Fit barrel into your 40S&W or .357Sig M&P or M2.0 will allow you to shoot 9mm from your pistol. You will need to use a 9mm magazine with this barrel for proper function.

We strongly recommend using these barrels in a "Conversion Barrel" capacity for training and/or practice use only.  If you're going to trust your life to your pistol, you really should purchase it in the caliber you plan to use it in.

Barrel Hood Side Gap: When our 9mm barrel is installed into a 40S&W or .357Sig slide, you will notice a gap on either side of the barrel hood.  This gap is normal and has no bearing on the accuracy of our barrels.

Extractors: If you choose to use our barrel as a "Conversion Barrel" and you experience extraction or feeding issues, we recommend you remove the extractor and clean the hook out thoroughly and the inside of the slide.  You should also consider an Apex Failure Resistant Extractor for your M&P or M2.0.

Recoil Assembly: When using these barrels as a "Conversion Barrel", we recommend using a factory recoil assembly appropriate for the caliber that matches your barrel.
