Apex Slide for Hellcat and Hellcat Pro

The Apex Slide for the Hellcat and Hellcat Pro is machined from heat treated stainless steel. It works with all Apex aftermarket Hellcat/Hellcat Pro slide components and barrels, as well as all factory Hellcat slide components. It’s 100% Made in the USA, right here in Phoenix AZ. 

This is a “partially stripped” slide, meaning you'll need to provide all of the slide internals including the barrel and recoil assembly. 

You’ll also need to install the following parts from their original slide or procure new components: 

• Striker Assembly 
• Striker Block & Spring 
• Extractor & Extractor Plunger Assembly 
• Slide Back Plate 
• Barrel & Recoil Assembly

SLIDE FEATURES

Optic Mount Cut:  

• Optic Cut for direct mounting of Holosun K Series optics (DO NOT USE THE "RMSc to K Adapter Plate", doing so will raise the optic and prevent sight Co-witness)
• Confirmed to fit the 407K, 507K, EPS, & EPS Carry optics from Holosun
• Optic Mounting Screws for Holosun K Type Optics included
• Also fits Shield Arms RMSC Optics (Use screws included with the RMSC optics)
• Optic Mount holes are 4mm x .7mm with 4+ threads to ensure maximum optic holding power

Key feature: Optic mount holes do not penetrate into the extractor spring channel. This feature prevents the optic mounting screws from interfering with the extraction system, no matter what screws are used. 

Optic Mount Cover Plate

• We've designed the Optic Cover Plate specifically to fit our slide profile
• Each slide comes with a 3-pack of 3D printed Optic Cover Plates (black, red, and blue) and a set (2) of OCP screws

Sights & Co-witness: 

These slides come with XS Tritium Night Sights pre-installed. 

• Front Sight: Orange Ring with Green Tritium dot.  (Equivalent to Sig #8 height)

• Rear Sight: 2 green Tritium dots. (Equivalent to Sig #8 height)
• The dovetail cuts in the slide are "Sig Pattern", meaning that Sights for the Sig P320 or FN 509 will fit these dovetails.
  • These are the same dovetail cuts as those on the Hellcat (Original) slide, they ARE NOT the same as the sights on the Hellcat Pro.

• The included sights Co-Witness through the Holosun 407K, 507K, EPS and EPS Carry optics, in the lower 20% of the window. 

Barrel:

• You will need to supply a barrel - you can use any Apex barrel for the Hellcat Pro or factory Hellcat Pro barrel
• These slides were tested to function with Apex Hellcat Pro barrels and Springfield Factory Hellcat Pro Barrels
  • Other manufacturers’ barrels have not been tested to function with this slide

Slide Ports:

• Slide Ports matching the Apex Ported Barrel for the Hellcat Pro allow the escaping gasses from the barrel ports to reduce muzzle rise
  • An Apex ported barrel is required for this to work correctly

Serration Options: 

• Classic Serrations - Forward-angled front and rear serrations with balancing window cuts. 
• Honeycomb Serrations - Negative beehive pattern front and rear serrations with balancing window cuts. 
• Lightning Bolt Serrations - Negative lightning pattern front and rear serrations with balancing window cuts. 

Color options: 

• Black PVD
• Cerakote FDE over Black PVD - Color: Magpul FDE H-267  

Why Apex FDE Slides Aren’t Fully Coated: You may notice our FDE slides are missing the FDE coating in some areas. We did this intentionally,  and here’s why:

All spray-on finishes add material to all surfaces they’re applied to. The thickness of that coating varies based on a multitude of factors. To prevent the FDE coating from affecting the fit between parts, we opted to mask our slides before coating to keep the finish off the more critical surfaces. This means that all of the parts you need to install into your slide will fit as desired without you having to scrape the finish off areas of the slide. You can read more about this on our blog.

Holster Fit:

This slide matches the external dimensions of the Hellcat Pro and fits holsters manufactured for the Hellcat Pro.

Recoil Assemblies: Use an Apex Recoil Assembly for the Hellcat Pro or the factory Hellcat Pro Recoil Assembly

For customers installing this on a Classic Hellcat, the customer will need to use an Apex Hellcat Recoil Assembly or acquire a factory Hellcat Pro Recoil Assembly.

You’ll also need to supply a barrel and may use any Apex barrel for the Hellcat Pro or factory Hellcat Pro barrel.   

These slides were tested to function with Apex Hellcat Pro barrels and Springfield Armory factory Hellcat Pro barrels. Other manufacturers’ barrels have not been tested to function with this slide. 

WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND AGAINST USING OTHER COMPANIES' AFTERMARKET HELLCAT COMPONENTS WITH OUR SLIDE

We’ve thoroughly tested and validated the design of this slide with factory Springfield parts and Apex parts. We DO NOT warranty or guarantee that other companies’ parts will work in this slide. If the end user installs non-Apex or non-Springfield components intended for the Hellcat or Hellcat Pro into this slide, Apex will not be able to provide technical support as those products are not validated.
