Sponsored by Ruger and taking place the weekend of October 1 and 2, at the Pioneer Sportsmen Club in Dunbarton, New Hampshire, the Ruger Live Free Or Die will feature 12 creatively designed and challenging stages. “Ever since the return of the New Hampshire IDPA championship, the Live Free Or Die has been one of the most exciting and popular events in New England. The Live Free Or Die IDPA Championship is the third and final leg of the King of New England challenge which is once again being presented by Apex Tactical Specialties. The King of New England is a three match concurrent event that will crown a King in each of the five IDPA divisions – Custom Defensive Pistol, Enhanced Service Pistol, Stock Service Pistol, Compact Carry Pistol and Revolver – based on the best combined score from 12 selected King of New England stages, four from each of the three championships. The first leg of the contest was held June 11-12 during the 19th Mass. State IDPA Championship at the Woburn Sportsmen’s Assn. in Bedford, Mass. The second led took place during the 2016 New England Regional IDPA Championship which was hosted by the Harvard Sportsmen's Club in Harvard, Mass. the weekend of August 20-21.
