Apex Donates $150,000 To C.O.P.S.
PEORIA, Ariz., – Apex Tactical Specialties has donated $15,000 to Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S.). With this latest check, Apex’s total donation to the organization has reached $150,000, all raised through the sale of the company’s Thin Blue Line Series triggers.
“A line-of-duty death is the worst fear of a law enforcement family, but support from companies like Apex Tactical Specialties helps remind survivors that they will never be alone and their blue family is here. The Thin Blue Line trigger serves as a daily reminder to officers that they are part of something much bigger and their service is beyond appreciated,” said Dianne Bernhard, executive director of C.O.P.S.
Since October of 2016, Apex has been offering its Thin Blue Line Series products for the sole purpose of raising money to support the families of fallen officers through the various programs administered by Concerns of Police Survivors whose mission it is to rebuild the shattered lives of the survivors who have lost a loved one in the line of duty.
Apex donates 25% to C.O.P.S. from each Thin Blue Line Series product sold.

C.O.P.S. has a membership comprised of more than 52,000 people nationwide who have identified themselves as survivors nationwide. Unfortunately, that membership continues to grow as an average of 140-160 law enforcement officers have died in the line of duty every year.
