LOS OSOS, Calif. –
Apex Tactical Specialties has joined with Middlebranch Machine of Canton, Ohio, on a special Smith & Wesson M&P45 custom build that will be raffled off this Saturday during the Tuscarawas Valley (Ohio) Friends of NRA event.
“Apex is very pleased to join with Middlebranch Machine in contributing to this special custom M&P build to benefit the Tuscarawas Valley Friends of NRA. We are big supporters of our local Friends of NRA event and hope our involvement with this project helps generate lots of excitement for our friends in Ohio,” explained Scott Folk, vice president of Apex.
Apex contributed one of their patented
Flat-Faced Forward Set Sear & Trigger Kits, featuring the popular “Red Flatty” anodized trigger which is available exclusively
from Brownells.com.
The Apex trigger accents the custom work of Mike Malloy, owner of
Middlebranch Machine, whose slide machining, frame stippling and Cerakote work gives the M&P45 its unique, one-of-a-kind look. The custom M&P45 features a Burnt Bronze Cerakoted slide with Raptor Ports and Ridgeback Serrations. The barrel has been Titanium Nitride (TiN) coated. The polymer frame is stippled through the grip area and pistol controls are Cerakoted Titanium Blue.
The upgraded and customized M&P45 is valued at over $1,400.
The
Tuscarawas Valley Friends of NRA banquet fundraiser will take place on Saturday, April 9 at La Pizzaria, located at 3656 Dressler Road NW in Canton, Ohio, and is expected to draw 300 attendees. Last year’s banquet raised over over $37,000.
